This family ceche recipe is from my childhood. A recipe that Mum has made for as long as I can remember, is easily modified to suit the veges in your fridge and my kids eat it (smothered in butter), but they eat it, little do they know it's full of the nourishing stuff!

So, let's get straight to the point, the recipe, so you can get it served to your family too!.

Nourishing family Ceche

Ingredients

1 cup of silverbeet or spinach finely chopped

1 cup of grated carrot

1 cup of grated cheese plus extra to sprinkle on top

1 cup of finely chopped onion

5 eggs

¼ cup olive oil

1-2 teaspoons of dried mixed herbs or your other preferred herbs (fresh if you like too)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup self raising flour (use gluten free if you need to)

Directions

Turn on oven to 180 degree to heat. Grease round ceche dish or line a rectangular baking tin.

Chop/grate veges and cheese, load everything (except flour) into a large bowl and mix together. Lastly add the flour and mix.

Pour into baking dish, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for up to 50 minutes, until cooked through and golden brown on top
