Smooth, rich, creamy, nourishing and delicious!
This is a recipe that is used almost daily in our house, it doesn't really require any fancy ingredients, just simple stuff from the supermarket, although I do shop around to get the best bulk deals if I'm near a fruit & vege produce shop.
Will keep you full until lunchtime or great as a lunch meal replacement!
Protein smoothies are great, they are simple to make, easy to get nourishing and filling foods into, and you can even hide foods for the fussy eaters!
I prefer my smoothies thick and creamy so that is where the avocado comes in, I really miss it when I've run out. (Quick tip; did you know you can freeze avocados, especially great for smoothies, not so much to use raw on salads etc, cut them into quarters, scoop them out of the skin and lay them on a tray in a single layer to freeze, then chuck them all in a bag to free flow in the freezer).
Right, so here is it, quick and simple you have breakfast or lunch sorted!!
